What is CCTV?
Closed circuit television means you have a circuit of cameras watching your property that relay information to a central point.
The information is ‘closed’ ie not broadcast to a wider audience. In the past, we would have always had a physical television monitor, but nowadays, we can get images sent from the central point to your smart phone, so you can view images remotely.
How does CCTV work?

They also work in the dark. Some cameras can move their position and the lens can zoom in and out too. The cameras pick up the images and send a signal to a specific place.
